In the world of Christian counseling, there’s a wide spectrum. Some approaches, like traditional Biblical Counseling (often called Nouthetic Counseling), can take a rigid stance—assuming suffering always results from personal sin. On the other hand, some forms of Christian Counseling are so loosely defined that they hardly reflect a biblical worldview at all.
A Christ-centered approach is different.
In our sessions, we begin with Christ, walk with Him through your healing journey, and end with Him as our hope. We invite Scripture to speak into your story, use prayer when appropriate, and honor the way God created your whole being—mind, body, and spirit. This approach is compassionate, truth-filled, and grounded in the belief that Jesus cares deeply about your pain and offers real hope for restoration.

Each session is a space where we invite Jesus to meet you right where you are. Together, we’ll explore your story with honesty and grace, seeking His truth and healing in the places that feel heavy, confusing, or stuck.
Sometimes that looks like untangling overwhelming emotions. Other times, it means learning healthy boundaries, practicing new ways of thinking, or healing wounds that still affect your present.
Our work is grounded in Scripture, shaped by clinical wisdom, and sensitive to the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. You don’t have to have the answers or say the “right” things. Just come as you are, and we’ll walk the path of healing together with Christ at the center.

Most clients begin with weekly sessions. Meeting consistently helps build trust, create momentum, and give you the support you need as we start this healing journey.
We’ll regularly check in to see how things are going, and over time, the frequency may shift depending on your goals, progress, and needs. But to begin, weekly sessions give us the best foundation to move forward with purpose and care.

Not at this time. As a Pastoral Counselor and Mental Health Coach, my services fall outside the scope of what insurance companies typically reimburse.
I believe deeply in the value of faith-integrated care and hope that, as our culture continues to recognize the importance of whole-person healing, more doors will open for Christ-centered counselors to be included in insurance networks in the future.
In the meantime, I'm committed to providing meaningful, transformative care at a fair and transparent rate.

I do not offer a sliding scale in my private practice. To make room for the work I do through a nonprofit—where I offer significantly reduced-rates—I must keep my private practice rates consistent. “The worker deserves his wages.” 1 Timothy 5:18
I understand that finding affordable care can be challenging, and I truly respect the courage it takes to reach out. If you’re unable to move forward financially at this time, you may want to consider joining my membership program.

No, I counsel women. However, there are occasions where one or two couples’ sessions prove beneficial.

Telehealth sessions are held through Google Meet, a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Once your session is scheduled, you’ll receive a private link to join the video call.
If you’re using a computer, you can simply click the link and join through your web browser—no download needed.
If you’re using a phone or tablet, you’ll need to download the free Google Meet app ahead of time. Just find a quiet, private space where you can talk openly, and we’ll take it from there.

Every healing journey is different, but when we take a Christ-centered, whole-person approach, many clients begin to experience:
A noticeable reduction in anxiety and depression symptoms as we gently address root causes rather than just surface behaviors.
Fewer and less intense emotional triggers, with tools to return to peace more quickly through nervous system regulation and spiritual grounding.
Greater control over intrusive or negative thoughts by renewing the mind with truth and learning practical thought-management skills.
Healthier, more enjoyable relationships as we work through past wounds, set healthy boundaries, and grow in emotional awareness.
Increased clarity and direction by aligning your life with your God-given values, priorities, and calling.
A deepening sense of peace, purpose, and connection with God, not just in sessions but in daily life.
Healing is a process, but with commitment and Christ-centered support, real and lasting change is possible.

That depends on several factors, including the nature of what you're working through, your goals, and how engaged you are in the process. Some clients experience meaningful shifts within just a few sessions, while others need more time to uncover root issues and walk through deeper layers of healing.
I’ve noticed that those who come with a sincere desire for growth, an openness to God’s work, and a willingness to make changes often experience the most lasting transformation.
Pacing is always personalized. We’ll move at a speed that feels safe and manageable for you—never rushed, never stuck. As for when therapy is “done,” it usually becomes clear when you feel more grounded, confident, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges without ongoing support. And of course, you’re always welcome to return for a tune-up whenever needed.
